Dear visitors,

The holiday season is always magical in Vienna! Thousands upon thousands of Christmas lights create a very romantic setting. Holiday-themed food and drink abound at the many Christmas markets around town. With a bit of luck, you might even meet the \\\"Christkind\\\", a kind of Christmas angel with curly blond hair at the Christmas market located in front of town hall. In Vienna, we don’t have Santa claus. Rather, well-behaved children get presents from the Christkind (or Christ Child) on the 24th of December. If it gets a bit too chilly for you, just walk into the town hall and watch kids do arts and crafts and bake cookies. Or warm up with your choice of spiced punch or mulled wine. Here at Vienna Guide Service we also proudly offer Christmas-themed guided tours that you might enjoy. Details can be found on our website: www.guides-in-vienna.at.
